I have found it that it takes both quality and quantity. We need give our children as much of ourselves as we possibly can knowing that we have them for only a very short time. You know, I never had a sweet Dad and that's my regrets. Oh well life is not fair. Now I got a sweet hubby but not s sweet Dad coz it's hard for him to handle kids especially we have all three boys. But still even if my man is like that my kids love him as he is always everyday on our side. Really time spend together for always will build a very strong relation whatever the differences. I agree with you that the investment of time deepens the relationship. I think it also helps children to feel more confident and secure.
