Where is your ideal summer vacation?

I know it is winter still for the folks in the northern hemisphere. I am just getting a little ahead of time here and would actually like to know where do city parents usually bring their city children to during the summer holidays?

How do you identify or determine where to go and what to do?

My guess is to bring the kids to somewhere to enjoy some Fresh Air! No, it should be a lot of Fresh Air! To roll on grass, run by the beach, smell the flowers, etc… Or on the other hand, it could be determined by where we the parents desire to go

For those of us who can afford it, we would even bring them to another country and experience the diversity of life on earth. Who doesn’t like to travel anyway?!

   A change of scenery is always good no matter where you choose to go, it’s the break from your normal routine that makes you feel better. Abroad or somewhere near home, it matters not as long as you have nice memories to mull over until the next opportunity comes along.

   Over my place, it is like summer all year round. It would be good to bring kids to a place where they can run freely safely with the fear of any cars; most kids just like to run around. They would also enjoy playing in the playground. Come to think of it, kids can be pretty easy to entertain. They just need our time and love.

   Yeah, we are here, in US, always looking forward to the summer vacation. Nice and relax time together with our family after a long working year. For this year, we’ll think of Florida beach.

   My ideal summer vacation with my son would be a month travelling around New Mexico and Arizona in the US. Unfortunately, already expensive, heavily overtaxed by Gordon Brown flights become totally unaffordable during the summer holidays.
